Laguna Creek by darsphotos

Laguna Creek

We’ve been getting a lot of rain. Today was a dry day so I headed out. This is a part of Laguna Creek in the middle of our town. When it rains so much the creek water moves through here and goes West eventually getting to the Sacramento River.
I know you are glad to have the water. What an interesting photo. It looks like snow in the middle. Nice to see you posting too, Darlene

@grammyn Definitely glad to have the water. The water makes white bubbly foam that floats on the water and reflection from above. Thank you for stopping by and commenting too.

It looks a beautiful day, nice clouds, and looks like the river has been to the top of the banks. I see the shinning mud left by the water,
Sorry to read about your husband, hope he gets a speedy recovery. :)

So good to hear from you, Darlene. I’m glad California is having so much rain and snow after those terrible drought years. Was sorry to hear how much your husband has had to endure with the medical treatments and bills. I hope this year will turn out much better for you both.

@dannydavies Thank you so much for your comments. We have been having sunny days so this area is dry. Also thank you for the well wishes for my husband. 2 more years of cancer treatments (lupron (hormone injections). Hopeful that all will continue to go ok for him.

@bruni Thank you so very much, Bruni. I do not have time like I used to have to be here. I do miss the people here which keeps me coming back when I can. Take care my friend.

@congaree Nice to hear back from you John. We are now dry but not sure for how long. Lots of water in the flat open areas. Wildlife gravitates to these areas which is nice to see. It is difficult to deal with Cancer. It is not an easy treatment and is very costly if you have insurance like we have but grateful for what we have and that it is not worse than it is. Pray for every day to be good days. We live and do not let it be our lives. You are so sweet and thank you. Take care too.

Nice capture, love the ripples and the cloud reflections in the water.
So happy to find you here, Darlene. Hope all is and will be well with you. I am back on 365, maybe I can keep it up for a while.
