New Orleans in the Fog

Had the great fortune to go to New Orleans for the first time last weekend. The very last night, the city was surrounded in fog, and I made the decision to go back out from my hotel around 10:30 pm to see what I could catch handheld with my best lens (24-70, 2.8 Tamron), and it didn't disappoint!

Oooohhhh -- yes, atmosphere and moodiness. I've taken this photo several ties but never considered it in black and white, and it's perfect! Wait, you were in NOLA in February -- OMG what is wrong with us? I was there February 8 - 9 - 10 and I could easily have extended before or after to meet up with you!!!
