Made baguettes for Mother's Day. Took a professional photo for my daughter's LinkedIn profile. Will eat Mediterranean food I ordered out (the first time I have ordered food prepared for us since all this started). Got a couple of plants as gifts, and had a zoom meeting with my mom and brother's families.
I've always said that for many people, Mother's Day is met with the phrase "it's complicated." And it is, but today, it has been a nice day. Happy day to all the mothers out there.

We won't be eating takeaways / fast food (not that we ever ate many pre Covid-19), we certainly won;t be eating in restaurants even when they reopen. I think we have to defeat the virus before we will ever do that again
@phil_howcroft I ordered for food pickup for the first time. I will not be going anywhere to eat in an establishment, but I do support curbside pickup for those that need it. Restaurants today are losing tons of money from not having a Mother's Day crowd, so I decided to support a particular restaurant . I tend to make all my own food, but I still have to shop for it etc.
