Like yesterday's shot, I only had a moment to consider taking a photograph. I thought, well, the light from yesterday's golden hour highlighting my rice cooker might also be a good time to take another shot from my kitchen counter (where I was cooking bbq chicken in a crockpot and was assembling the materials for a slaw I make with limes, a touch of olive oil, onion, and cilantro).
And there sat my beautiful hand-blown glass olive oil dispenser basking in the light. Snap. Done. It was a gift from my sister-in-law from a local artist who used to show his work in the Artist's Village at Stone Mountain. The first one she gave me, I broke, and she promptly bought me a new one.
I loved the bokeh I captured, and tomorrow's photo will show how I got a bit nuts about trying to duplicate it for learning purposes.
Most beautiful olive oil dispenser I’ve ever seen! I spent $32 on a bottle of high polyphenol organic olive oil yesterday …. It deserves a pretty dispenser like this one!
