I'm a little early in this post and it's a photo I took while my mom and I were at the museum this week enjoying the Frida & Diego show at the HIGH with lunch afterwards. It was our plan to celebrate mother's day and her birthday tomorrow, but my illness is in the way.
I planned on taking a different shot of her tomorrow, but I think this one is just lovely of her and decided to post today. My mother is an amazing woman, artist, writer, creator, innovator, friend, and all-around super mom. I would not be me without her.
I'm also pleased to announce that I edited this photo in PSE 10 with layers--it's never too late to start learning something. And that folks, comes from my amazing mother. Happy Birthday Sue, aka @shunter on 365.
This really confused me as I'd given my mum her present in March - I thought I was being swindled! But I looked it up and it's on different days for different countries! I never knew that!
@darylo I love you DDD. For those who don't know the code, DDD means Darling Daughter Daryl! I am the lucky one, to be her mom and mom to her two brothers. She gets to enjoy being mom too to two great girls. Happy Mother's Day!

@colie Thanks. She's so beautiful--I'm going to brag--75 today! I'm feeling much better and my children gave me the best day ever--a day at the park where I could photograph to my heart's content and still not be worn out by the bronchitis. Lovely.
@alia_801 PSE editing has a long way to go, but I at least understood "layers" for the first time. I have probably already forgotten as I don't use manuals well. :(
@jo13 My husband loaded Lightroom today (beta version of LR5) and I'll check it out for 30 days. Thanks for thinking of the slider thingy. Whenever you think of it. I have a whole year ! Feeling much better and kids and husband put up with me at park and my camera for a couple of hours! Oh, I think I may have some fun goose/gosling photos. Made me think of you. :)

So annoying I just can't find the video that shows you how this works, but basically you attach the underside of the track to your tripod and attach your camera onto the top, with the knobs on the right hand side and the camera screwed on to the back screw, then you move your camera along the track to achieve tiny adjustments, this and the clip on have been a good combination.
What a wonderful thought for your mum - lovely portrait! Where would we be without them?! Happy Mothers Day to you both! Hope you are feeling better! : )
