Maple by darylo

Maple

Yesterday, I could not upload a photo to LR5 because I had no time, but I took this abstract while doing a walkabout during my daughter's music lesson. I saw this maple tree with its emerging signature red and thought that intentional "out-of-focus" would provide a nice abstract. I rather like that technique over ICM, but I do like ICM too.

My photo from yesterday I did upload was a photo of my blinds with camera manipulation. I was not in a mood to work on photos or to deal with my teenager who was pushing every button. I let the phone work its magic and then I turned out the light to put an end to a flub of an evening.
This works well. I could tell it had the hint go the maple leaf but not so much as to move it to realism. Lovely.

Rich color and very mysterious, something red glowing in the dark, maybe a fire, maybe a flower. . . .

Not sur why your photos have escaped me! Well done on a whole month, I found it very challenging. I will have a good look later! I like these out of focus leaves.
