The Atlanta Skywheel in all its glory. With the Equitable building sign behind it. The Skywheel is positioned just outside of Centennial Park in downtown Atlanta. The Park has wonderful holiday lights throughout and a temporary ice skating rink.
I used my Bower (all-manual) wide-angle (14mm fixed) lens for this and it really helps at night when you can't see for shhhhh and you want everything in focus (anything beyond 3 ft. is in focus!). Used the tripod, of course. And my remote clicker thingy (thank you SANTA!).
Bower is really a lens made for video, and if my birthday dream camera does, in fact, arrive, it's ready for a video lens! Bam!
And, yes, it's clear, I am breaking all 365 rules by posting more shots from an earlier shoot in the week. Do I care? NO! See profile and my rules for Year Two, but if you must see my photo for the day, go here: http://365project.org/darylo/didn-t-make-cut/2015-01-02
@neatz so true. I am at a stage where I want to spend more time editing a shoot where I gathered multiple shots I liked. I still take photos every day, but I prefer spending time editing what I have more than going out to get something just for the sake of getting something. In year one, though, I stuck to daily take and post!
@kwind ok, just realizing you probably meant do I have a photogrpahy page...which I am working on. It's going to be Daryl O'Hare Photography. It's created, but I want to do some stuff to it before it's "published" Do you have a page? My personal one is mostly photos from here and some other stuff or my writing. If you have a page, let me know!
