@taffy Thanks Taffy. It's still a bit washed out on the left--something I'm learning about light and it's ability to draw the eye away, but I do prefer this shot in bw than in color. It also was slightly out of focus on the bird (for some reason, bw helps there). Thanks for your encouragement today. I remember last summer struggling to get to the computer after long days with the kids or while on vacation. I am completely and utterly exhausted from having so much fun in 4 days. I can't believe all we did while my brother and niece were here. Now Aidan and I are on our own as my husband left too...unlikely to be on here much.
