Thrasher Babes May be Here

This brown thrasher was getting bugs like crazy in my back yard this morning. The light was bad, so I invaded my neighbor's yard to capture the mid-stopping point before heading into the cypress trees where I suspect the nest is.
She looks like a thrush - maybe you call them thrashers? Great catch!

Lovely bird and wouldn't it be a bonus if they do have babies there!

Great shot! I would have thought it a bit early for babies, but yay babies!

@maggiemae
They are a part of the same family. Just as the American Robin is a part of this family.

I guess I was wrong, my bird book says April to June for nesting season. Also, I have a strange request, once you see the Trasher babies can you let me know if they have a tail or not? I've got a Trasher in my yard with no tail and I'm wondering if it's a young one like the American Robin that grows his tail as he ages.

@mej2011 I'll try. Thrashers are notorious for being agressive toward anything going near the nest and it's back in some brush. I was only able to watch the entry and the hear the peeping noises!
