One of my best friends turned 50 this week. Her mother threw a party for her and all of the attendees needed to come either as an action figure or characters from a Broadway musical. Mike and I went as Wednesday and Pugsley from The Addams Family. The expression on my face was intentional. However, it is a little sad that after 4 days now from my back procedure I am not feeling the effects of it. I have been told that it takes two to five days to take effect. If it doesn't do something by tomorrow I think I'm going to cry. I don't really want a life of pain. Tomorrow is four weeks since I injured my back. I did spend too much time today standing and walking because I went to go see my daughter's last cross country meet she was ever going to have in high school. I just didn't want to miss it. Seems like there's always a cost to doing something that matters. I did have a fantastic time at the party, and there was a wonderful couch that was comfortable for me to rest while I was at the party. And it was fun to do something like dress up for a costume party.
LOVE the costumes! It is especially fun to see on black!
Sorry to hear that you still aren't better from your back but it has been my experience that it often takes weeks. It has also been my experience that there's nothing you can do except wait. I was so hoping the shots would be a miracle cure for you
