Triumphant!

This morning, Mr. W put the final piece of a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle into place. It's taken him about four weeks to finish this one -- an incredibly complicated and mind-bending M.C. Escher lithograph, and to make it even more challenging, many of the pieces fit in several different (wrong) places. Note the slightly raised piece in Escher's palm ... that's one that Mabel "customized" by gently gnawing on it when it accidentally fell on the floor!)

It looks so tricky, I wouldn't have the patience for that.

What a great job! I did a colorful puzzle of San Francisco recently with the grand kids and it was fun but...this one looks like quite the challenge.

@gardenfolk Thank you, CC -- it was a real challenge! I am amazed at his patience ... I don't think I would have lasted more than 5 minutes!
