Like most of the rest of the country, we are not planning on having a huge crowd this Thanksgiving. The only guest we will have join us at the table will be Mr. W's sister Peggy, but I still plan to have fun with the cooking. I spent some time today sifting through my recipe books, and decided this will be this year's feast: Tuscan Turkey Roulade, Scalloped Potatoes, Orange-braised Carrots and Parsnips, and Balsamic-glazed Roasted Brussels Sprouts. And for dessert, Mr. W's all-time favourite, Pumpkin-Bourbon Cheesecake with Bourbon Sour Cream Topping. That should keep us well filled!
