Just for fun. by deborah63

Just for fun.

I went to the beach today to try and take a slow shutter speed shot with my phone in the style of Joe @joemuli. Major fail, I really need to see if I an get an ND Filter for it first, there was no way in the world I could get the shutter slow enough without blowing it out completely.
So I resorted to an older photo that I played with in Picsart.
@joemuli I hope you don't mind that I tried to edit a photo in your style today. Looks like I need more practice. LOL.

I like this! Don't know if this helps but I haven't got any filters either. When I have a go at longish exposures for waves I wait for dusk or just before daybreak - but then you won't get many people then so perhaps that's a rubbish tip!
We're Get Pushed partners this week - how do you feel about taking a long exposure shot? If this is hard to fit into a working week pse get back to me and I'll come up with something else :)

Thanks- I don’t mind at all—you did a great job here.
Im having a hard time too specially when your subject is moving quiet fast..Try to practice or experiment on still subjects first-—btw, are you using the slow shutter app for phones?

@joemuli I'm usung a Samsung phone and couldn't find an ap called Slow Shutter. The one I'm using is called Manual Camera. It gives you the flexibility of manually controlling shutter speed plus a variety of other settings. It's pretty good.
