This afternoon it turned sharply colder as a north west wind blew in. Many, many leaves were flying through the air and falling in the gusts.
I wasn't dressed warm enough and was glad to come home and make tea, then take this tray and wrap up in a blanket on my chaise longue as the darkness descended. Many people don't like the shorter days in November, but I love it when the day draws in at tea time and I light a votive candle and enjoy the coziness of home.
