Leila has had to start wearing glasses and got her first ones today. This is her pair for home and she has another pair for school.
She is really chuffed with them and although she looks older I think they really suit her
Isnt it funny what thrills the young...I’m sure in a few years she would be glad to be without them! Nasty steamy up things! She does look lovely in them & of course girls love looking older at that age....😳
They do suit her. One of my girls had glasses when she was about that age......she chose 'rainbow style' frames....I picked up my glasses today too......one pair for reading and computers and one pair for TV (or far away) and driving. I am now 70 so was quite chuffed to have lasted this long without them.
They suit her! My daughter started wearing glasses at the age of two...the ophthalmologist said to let her pick them out, for years it was purple frames. One time we had to get pink as they were out of purple, and she conveniently managed to take them off, lay them on the bed, and “accidentally” jump on them until the frames shattered. The optician had to stifle a laugh, and ordered a new pair...in purple...and didn’t charge us. I still feel guilty about that!
They look very nice indeed and suits her, tell her that Lady Magpie thinks it make her look more intelligent, a scientist perhaps. I wore glasses from 16 years old and incredibly didn't need them after I was 70 and had both eyes with cataract operated on. FAV
