Just Over One week ago.

I am thinking that this needs to be the last of my York photos for now . I might be becoming a little obsessive!
As the weather has changed and we are all feeling colder and snowier, I thought it would be nice to see the sunshine over the river Ouse showing the beautiful sunny but cold Saturday afternoon we spent strolling around York.

Lovely sunshine! I have a pic from the same spot but the whole walkway was filled with hen and stag parties. It was a wonder no one had fallen in!

A lovely shot of Kings Staith, nice sunlight on the buildings - fav! Most of my shots of this area seem to have been taken during various flood events. When you see it like this it is hard to imagine how high the flood water can reach (Well up towards the top of the ground floor windows of the Kings Arms).
