We don't really mind that they eat the flowers. Odd, but they only seem to eat annuals. Maybe they are like candy and the perennials are tough or not as tasty.
@kirsty At this point, most of my flower shots are from local flower shops or from a conservatory. Today I posted the first flower to push through the earth in my garden.
These were my dad's favourite flowers and he grew lots on his allotment when I was a kid. My mum used to go mental when he came home with cut ones to put in vases, as she said they brought earwigs into the house! This photo has brought back earwigs for me via some funny memories. It was a good idea to photo it in situ growing in the garden perhaps!
