Ay-yi-yi!!! This is GORGEOUS...an absolute fave!! I am sooooo going to take a pic of flowers once they're blooming this spring and summer. Orange is my absolute favorite color. :)
Yes another great picture, Denise. I use Photoshop if I have to use anything, but a while back in an emergency I used Picasa and found it worked really well - and it's a free download (at least it used to be). If you're still having trouble let us know and between us all we'll get your sorted!
Love the colors and the details!! Very beautiful! I have not used Picnik, I'm pretty computer illiterate... :( sorry... Please don't stop posting your pretty flowers!!!!!!!!!
Ah, see you have picked up Gerber Daises. Aren't they photogenic?
You asked what I use for the black background. I bought a very inexpensive circular reflector. I bet it only cost about $13-15. Here is a link to one I wish I bougth because it comes with a stand. I have to hold mine or in the case of the photos here I have propped it up in various ways. http://www.white-lightning.com/crk42.html Very cool as there is five ways to use it with different colors etc. I find I use black more than anything but white would be good to add more light to the image.
Sounds like youhad a very frustrating day. I have heard gimp and picasa are very nice. If you are not happy with what you chose they might save the day.
Well this turned out to be STUNNING Denise, in spite of Picnik! I've had slowness issues with them on and off lately but haven't been locked out (yet)! It can be frustrating when you're trying to get something done there and it's so slow it takes forever! Good luck with the new site!
I have no ideas about picnik. Have you tried a different web browser?
I have heard on good word that Picasa 3 is an excellent one to download -- you might try that.
