365...It comes with such sweet sorrow. I have reached the milestone that so many strive to achieve. When I look back over my photos, I can't believe the year is already over.
Once again, you have overwhelmed me with your support and encouragement. Based on your feedback, I have made the decision to continue on with the 365project. However, this year, I will start by posting some of the many photos that were taken during the last year. I have so many nice shots that were taken during the summer, and everyone seems to enjoy their "daily shot of color". So I'll be taking it more easy, looking through some older shots and posting whatever I feel like doing that day.
My daily hunt for photos will start again in the Spring. Thanks again to all of my dedicated followers. You have been an uplifting source of daily encouragement.

Merry Christmas, Denise, to you and your family. AND CONGRATULATIONS on the completion of your first year project. At times it can seem daunting but you stuck with it and have a fabulous portfolio of photographs to show for it. I still think you should really consider stock photography. People would pay for your pictures.

So what happened was this, Denise...I was walking through the park today and I saw a woman who was emitting a strange glow. She introduced herself as Mother Nature and then I noticed the tears on her cheeks. 'What's wrong?' I asked. 'It's Denise,' she said. 'She's not posting any more of my flowers. It's over.' 'No! No!' I cried. 'She's finished her project - but she's coming back!' The tears stopped, Mother Nature smiled and then she was gone. So congratulations on finishing one grand year, Denise, and thank you for vowing to return. I'll enjoy your earlier pictures all over again and look forward to the new batch (along with Mother Nature). In the meantime, have a great Christmas break.
