First rain shot.

This is my first attempt at a rain shot, I would LOVE any advice, critique and help on how to improve it 😀
I think it looks good. You might try lowering the F stop to give more light in the foreground. Catching raindrops falling can be difficult.

Hi Gary awww thanks so much for the feedback, i will try that next time, yes they are tricky because truth is the whole time I am conscious of not getting the camera wet hahaha

The aperture gives you a nice narrow depth of field, and the shutter speed means you've got the raindrops. I'm not a Nikon person, but I assume the camera has a "fill-in flash" setting, which would lighten up the foreground. Either that or shoot in RAW format and adjust in suitable software. Anyway, I like it!

@peadar thanks Peter is a fill in flash the pop up flash on the camera?

@desraemelville Yes, it is.Opinion from Nikon users online seems divided - some are saying just pop up the flash and the camera does the rest, whilst others talk about flash compensation. You can Google it! Best of luck...
