Shades of reflection in the vase

I loved the building reflected in the vase on my breakfast table
Interesting shot. I like the shades of colours.

Gorgeous focus and reflection, it's as if there's a whole little world in there, fav for me!

Unusual to see the vase photographed rather than the flowers but this is lovely. Fav.

Fabulous reflection shot! A very intriguing shot.

The building is neat and so are all the colors reflected in the base of the vase.

Awesome observation and capture

Nice reflections indeed!

Hey, that is cool! I'm sure I would've eventually noticed it but what caught my eye first were the circles of color at the bottom of the vase and then the abstract orange in the background. Uniquely shaped vase, by the way.

That is amazing, a wonderful find and great shot. Love it.

Great reflection, certainly not the usual device for it :)

fabulous colours on the bottom of the vase and a great reflection too. If you take another shot why don't you remove that long stem to show more of the reflection.

You were sitting there and looking far beyond what other people see! Reflections are everywhere but this one is rather good for it being such a big building!

So fascinating with those reflections! I almost wish there wouldn´t be those plants in water, without those I could get lost in this tiny little world; those reflections and the smoothness of the background are so captivating! You think you could do another shot like this without the plants?

@elaine55 @susale Hi Elaine and Suse. I'm afraid not, the vase was at a restaurant in another town.
Thank you both for the thoughtful comments.
I left the plants in because it gave the vase a context and a focal point for the shot, if that makes sense? But I do see what you mean about them getting in the way.
June 25th, 2014
@dibzgreasley Yes that makes sense and they don´t bother me, I just would have wanted to see the other shot too. Well seen in any case!

@dibzgreasley They are actually adding to the fascination, they are like a bits of reality slipping into otherwise very dreamy world, if you understand what I mean.....
June 25th, 2014
@susale I get you! I wish I had thought to take one without them, but I do get flustered taking pics in public spaces sometimes!
June 25th, 2014
Very cool!

Fabulous composition and I LOVE the reflection of the building in the glass! Perfect! fav!
June 25th, 2014
That is cool! I don't mind the stems really. I think they give the reflection context. They are part of the story.
