Filigree heart

This is probably not what Dianna @dmcoile had in mind when she challenged me to make an image that juxtaposes old and new. I have long wanted to try the heart shadow image but with a different take, so that is the 'old' (an old idea) and the 'new' is my recently purchased ring. I also tried to compose with negative space in mind for the current technique challenge (no. 42)
Dianna @dmcoile, a first try!

Very creative! You're right, I wouldn't have thought of that. I was thinking more about your environment, but that's not what matters at all! This is really lovely, and I'm admiring that ring! Since you mentioned "first attempt" will you actually tag more than one for this challenge? This is my first time playing and I made a first attempt yesterday but didn't tag it yet.

@dmcoile Its a fab ring isn't it?
I may try something else if time allows, and I have some other versions of this that I have processed differently.
With the get pushed challenge you can do as many as you want and interpret in different ways.
