Coming home from class last night, I went around a corner and saw this. Someone was burning off after their rice field had been harvested and the area was full of smoke. I sat on the road in the middle of all the smoke and took this shot. Luckily it was an isolated road with little traffic, although one local walked past, again wondering what the strange foreigner was doing sitting in the middle of the road with his camera!
It took a while to get it like that, especially as the wind was blowing the smoke around a bit. Messing around with the ISO levels, too. This one is at 400, cos the attempts at 100 and 200 didn't really come out with such a full spread of light.
