The pond by dide

The pond

This photo is really just one for the record. Some years ago we planted trees around this little pond just below our house. It is quite exciting, as we have now fenced off around the stream and have some local school kids coming to help plant around it. The school 'Trees for Survival' team raised the seedlings and now they are ready to plant. The date is set for early in June - I'll put up more action shots then.
Beautiful.

This pond looks so beautiful and I'm sure it will look better and better with the project. Love the greens and the type of grass.

@nanm initially it will be flax, coprosma, cabbage and tea trees. Later we will plant lager canopy trees.

Great pov to show off the area. Isn't it lovely! The arrangement you have with the local school sounds good and what a great scheme that is for helping the children to become aware of their environment.

All the fencing represents a lot of work! What a beautiful view overlooking this pond. Glad you shared a "record" picture with us.

As for the whining while photographing the pug, yes, I rather hope the neighbor didn't hear me either. I'm sure he already wonders about me laying about in my yard winter and spring, rain and wind and the like. Hopefully the camera in hand explains some of it. :)
