On Friday, the retirement home where my mother now lives, is having a 'high tea'. It is an awareness/fundraiser for Alzheimers disease. My very learned cousin told me that the forget-me-not flowers are the logo, so I have taken a photo to print off and frame, for a spot prize. My cousin is @julzmaioro, so if the vase looks familiar, it is because she lent it to me!
I didn't realise you three were all related...knew Julz & Karen were shared grandparents but didn't know you & Julz were cousins.......keep it in the family!

@happypat yes - @julzmaioro had to give me lessons on how to take a 'pretty' photo as I don't tend to take pics of flowers very often. I too have English heritage as my mum and Julz's dad are siblings.
@happypat Yes Pat Dianne and I are cousins.. but I am the elder so I can tell her what to do... she is a very good student and did the flower arranging very well...
@julzmaioro@happypat yes you're right Pat - we have some fun outings with our cameras in tow - it's good to have each other to bounce ideas off! All three of us have had fun at camera courses and continue to learn.
