These are some of the lovely white sand dunes at Pakiri. The trees are shaped this way by the strong westerly winds.

Lovely beach in either the winter or summer.....perfect to slide down, that white sand reminds me of the White sands of Morar in Scotland where we spent our holidays as a children.
