At the end of the day, I sat on the hill above the pond, waiting for the tui to come and feed on the flax flowers. Eventually one did arrive, but didn't stay long enough for me to get a decent shot of it. So, here's one of a lovely old macrocarpa, that didn't fly away when I pointed the camera in its direction!
