This was taken at Tiri Tiri Matangi Island during our stay there on the weekend. I was playing with long exposure - lots of fun, but obviously lots to learn. The lighthouse is very old, having been made in England and shipped out in pieces to NZ. It was first lit in 1865 and had lighthouse keepers until 1984, when the light became fully automated. We were able to stay on the island in one of the lighthouse keeper's houses.
