What a day!

Today I went to Auckland for a special celebration. The Puhinui Stream won a National Award - the New Zealand River Award. The photo shows a few of the many hundreds of people who have been involved in riparian planting, which in turn has helped increase the amount of macro invertebrates to be found in the stream.
