One more in the series of high country action. It was great to see all these sheep controlled so easily. When they got to the yards, the dogs held them in a bunch on the roadside, while the shepherd put a temporary gate across the road, before the dogs then ably herded them into the yards. Amazing to watch. The dogs were then loaded onto a trailer for the homeward journey, with the owner calling them into the trailer name by name. One was called Tinkerbell!! Monochrome is the set subject for Camera Club on Monday night, so I have had this one printed. I first printed it in matt finish and it looked dull, so I reprinted it on pearl paper and it looks great - hopefully the judge will think so too!
Looks great in B&W and look forward to seeing it in 'pearl'... The dogs were amazing to watch ... and the shepherd didn't have to say too much to them .. they just knew what they had to do...
Good luck with your print. I like the monochrome. It highlights the herd so effectively and a well trained working dog is always fascinating to watch but I see this guy has at least nine to control.
