Men and machines

At the Agricultural and Pastoral there was a display of steam driven machines. I loved the machines, but equally so, I loved the old chaps who are so passionate about them.
oh they had these on the weekend at the show we visited too! What is it about steam engines?

Interesting and well see candid image Dianne, Whats there not to like about seeing a Boothmac stationary engine manufactured in Christchurch NZ. still working hard, I can spend ages just walking around these at our county shows, lol:)

Wonderful photo! I think the older fellows miss the time these machine represent. In those days they could easily find parts and make these run perfectly, without the internet. They were simpler times.
