Here is the kereru in action, stealing the guava. I did laugh, because as he was about to swallow one, he dropped it (bottom left). They are such heavy birds, that the branches really sag when they are on them.
LOl...what a cheeky buggar.....
It's so big in his beek.

I found some yellow guava recently up here in the North! The red ones are the ones I know and actually don't mind if the pidgee-poos take them. Not fond of them. Great shot!

That certainly is a mouthful. Great story telling collage. We call these birds dinosaurs in our garden - they are so big and clumsy and look out of proportion.
