I think I need longer gumboots…. Shifting a fence today was somewhat challenging and involved a few words that I don't often use! A shame my boots got swamped today, as after the extreme rain yesterday I had scrubbed them inside and out and had just got them nice and dry by the heater, ready for today….

I hate fencing at the best of times but it is so much better in the sunshine. but chasing animals is even more of a chore so fencing is a big deal.

This shot really tells a story. It is so wet here too, but we don't have as much mud as this. Here our soil is rather sandy so we don't squelch quite as much
