The little beauty

I am out staying at Awhitu tonight and had dinner with a couple of school friends (I won’t say old school friends ‘cause we’re all the same age!) Anyway - this little dinky wood fired pig is what they do much of their cooking on. Kay has even cooked a pavlova and cake! A lovely evening meal and nice calm night.

I've never seen anything like it! And if Bill had, he would have wanted one because we have -- FIVE grills in our backyard! To imagine how anyone would make my very favorite dessert in the world, a pavlova, in such an outdoor thingy is quite amazing!
