Cooling down

My sister and her wee granddaughter cooling down in the stream at the coast. It was a great place to play, as there wasn't any chance of being swept over by the west coast waves.
Great news around here - we are getting a bit of rain - hopefully we will get more overnight.

This is quite lovely...and reminds me of my childhood. We lived across the road from the beach. As soon we were home from school, we were on the beach. Only as an adult did I realise how fortunate we had been.
