We have just returned form another weekend away with family. It's nice to explore new areas, and last night we sat outside having dinner and watching this beautiful sunset unfold. It just got better and better… needless to say I had to keep leaving the table and racing off with my camera!
Such a gorgeous welcome home scene -- and of course you kept getting up to capture it! In fact, so beautiful that I wonder if you might try different crops with it. The grasses in the main third line are wonderful, of course, but the grasses to the right feel a bit like they are floating without being grounded. Did you take some that show more of them? Or less? Counterintuitive to a beautiful sky scene, perhaps trying a vertical composition of the tall grasses, showing off the layers with only the main grass cluster silhouetted? So much to play with!
@jyokota thanks for the great ideas - it was tricky because there were hills behind that made getting the full length of the grasses impossible. A lower angle meant missing out on some sky colour. There were fences and other weeds in the way too. I understand what you are suggesting, but this time it is what it is. Thanks for the great critique - another thing I love about 365.
