Chad is home again after a great overseas trip. He was based in the Netherlands playing hockey, but travelled around for the last couple of months to lots of different countries. He brought me a cute puffin from Iceland and chocolate to share from Switzerland. It's nice to have him home for a few days before he begins work again about an hour from here.
Aw, cute puffin and nice image of Chad. You'll be glad to have him back, I'm sure. Our son returns next week from two months in Indonesia. Haven't seen him since the New Year celebrations in Scotland, so really looking forward to that.
I'm now experiencing having a "child" far away as our daughter is now living in Greece. Thankfully, technology allows us wonderful visits via Viber etc.
@essiesue yes we have 4 ‘children’ and all have had OE’s - funny, Chad flew in Tuesday and Jesse flew out Wednesday. Jesse is only away a couple of weeks as he is competing in woodchopping at the Brisbane Show.
@dide Iceland was on our bucket list too, but I keep reading about it drowning in hordes of tourists. Not keen on travelling to the other side of the world to deal with crowds.
