We stayed at Hunua Falls last night and had the whole place to ourselves. The falls themselves aren't that photogenic as they are very high, a single band of water and don't cascade over rocks of differing heights. This morning I was up early and got some nice colours and reflections in the river. It's a lovely place to stay and hear the birdsong as the day begins.
@maggiemae Lots were swimming yesterday, and one person climbed part way up the rock face to jump in. I was pleased, like you, that nobody was crazy enough to jump from the top!
