A splash of colour

Josh planted a row of sunflowers around the maize crop. When everything was harvested, some of the sunflower seeds dropped and they germinated over autumn. The plants are small, but are busily flowering now in winter. The flowers are about saucer size and lovely to pick. In a few days, the heifers will be grazing the paddock, so I thought I'd better grab some before they munch them.
Gorgeous , and an instant fav
