NZ is going the wrong way with Covid. Today we have had the first cases of community transmission in 102 days. As a result, Auckland is in lockdown level 3. Schools are closed and only essential services allowed for the next 3 days. The rest of the country is level 2. So sad that it is again in the community.
Perfect shot for your commentary... we are in a county in Georgia, US where they opened schools, used school busses, students in crowded hallways... masks not required... now after 9 cases were reported at that particular school it is all shut down again. The pictures of the school hallway went viral... made national news... student that posted picture got suspended... then after public outrarage the suspension was revoked... so much craziness and in my opinion very poor decision making.
Oh no, hope Covid doesn't take off again in New Zealand like it has in Victoria. We have had more new cases in New South Wales too in the last 24 hours at schools in Sydney.
Very disappointing news Dianne....they can’t find the source either so very worrying! Fingers crossed all will be well. Could it have blown across the water...it’s a very illusion virus!
