The turbine

We can see this lonely turbine from our driveway, so it was a change to see it from a different angle yesterday when I was out on the bike. There is another one being built, but I'm not sure how long before it will pop over the horizon.

We have an 93 large turbine wind farm under construction in the northwest of the Island. It’s going to decimate the landscape.

We don't have any around either. Solar panels dominate here. those huge turbines always fascinate me when I see one. Love the green! Another thing we don't have - green grass.

A lovely landscape shot. I have mixed feelings about wind turbines. They do provide clean energy, but if there are a few of them they are quite intrusive.
