Home made

I had time today to make bread. It is a family recipe and very simple. It is half wholemeal and half white flour and is a 'no knead' recipe.
I also made a very seed-filled gluten free loaf, but it didn't rise as I hurried it into the oven because lunch was fast approaching!

@koalagardens It was a very expensive box of ready mix....tasted great, but I should've left it for the 3 hours to rise that it needed.

I don't find gluten free dough rises very well so like your 1/2 and 1/2! It may have been eaten quite quickly!

This looks so good. Home made bread was a lost art until Covid came along. Then last year so many people started making bread, our stores ran out of yeast and even flour.
