We are away for the weekend about 2 hours from home, near a town called Matamata. Today we walked into the highest waterfall in the North Island. It was about a one and a half hour return walk - mostly gentle uphill on the way in (with a few steps which had us puffing!) It was so nice to be in the bush and the track wasn't too muddy after all the recent rain.
