We held our school cross-country today. It was lovely and warm in the sun, but as the day wore on, the wind came up from the south and cooled things down somewhat. Some kids love the race, while others consider it the worst day of the school year! Not too many schools can boast a view like this - it was taken from the upstairs classroom where I work.
What a great record of this fun event Dianne, full of light and colour I went to an all boys school and our cross-country run were also in the winter with the temperature freezing or just above, lol:)
Lovely shot and so much color. Our highschool cross country has just started practice (7am when it's already in the 80's) and I really don't think a few of them will last :) I remember when I was teaching and you'd be walking to lunch and hear the 3rd graders say "hope I - get or not get - Mrs. Matthews because she makes you run". Use to tickle me.
