We stayed at Awhitu Regional Park last night and this morning I was up taking photos of the sunrise. I spotted this spider and took a few shots. It wasn't until I cropped it on the computer that I noticed you could see all her tiny babies in the nursery web. Made me think of the children’s book 'Charlotte's Web'.
Amazing image. I don't really suffer from arachnophobia but I have to admit that seeing all those baby spiders, getting ready to head out and take over the world, does kind of give me chills.
