Planting

After yesterday's horrible weather, today turned out not too bad. We began stage 2 of our planting project. Stage one took about 7 years and this one will likely be about 10. It is so good to look back at photos to see the progress. This area is very boggy, so lots of it will be planted in flax (harakeke). The tui will be pleased as they love the nectar from harakeke flowers.
It is a great job you are doing. Any planting is for future generations. It does seem to be a long term project.

That's a very difficult adventure you embarked on. You have lots of patience to decide on a job like this.
