Another image from my time at the beach yesterday morning. As these guys headed off on their run, the rain started again.
Three things:
Chook's sister in northland has a generator - luckily, because every time there's rough weather her power goes out.
Some people had a lucky escape in a landslide at Mt Maunganui, but very sadly, there are some that are unaccounted for.
The good book I'm reading is written by my friend's daughter.
So shocked to read of the landslide…..we love Mt Maunganui & spent some happy times on that beach. Last week of the holidays too! Great beach shot. Hope the rain & wind stops very soon. Ant is fed up working in the rain!
