Tonight I thought I would take a night from the architecture and do something fun. We have two Yorkshire Terriors. The brown one is Toby and the blackl one is Kiko. they are brothers. They get along great and they are always playing and having fun. I will admit, they are very spoiled. They are with us where ever we go. They love going for rides in the car, and they love being outside. Often times during the evening they will play fight. Someone who doesn't know them would think they are really fighting, because they show their teeth and really appear as though they are ticked. Trust me, it is all in fun. Being little dogs, they tend to come across like a pit bull with a big attitude. So I decided to try a few photos from a different angle to make them appear larger than they really are. They are only about six and a half pounds. They are just like kids.
Wow, Rick. I just love this collage of your dogs. I think our Little Bit would like to be there playing too. We intend to breed her and keep a pup so that she will have a playmate. Yorkies are so social and love to play. Aren't they the smartest most unique dogs you have ever had?? High maintenance at times, but Little Bit also gets it when we get firm with her and we need her to be quiet. Your dogs are precious.
This is so cute! I like the middle picture the best of them horseplaying. I seem to recall seeing my brothers play just like that, so they are just like the kids! haha!
They are adorable. I got a new puppy back in March and am having a lot of fun just watching her grow and learn. If this tells you anything... I got held back in puppy class... she passed... I failed! LOL Like yours, she is 5 pounds of pure energy. Please don't tell me I need to get another to keep her company! ;-)
Aww...great idea for a collage.
I love that they are differently coloured...as were their parents, I would imagine.
I used to have a cat named Toby. Waaaaay baack when I was a kid, and before I knew I was allergic to them.
Love how Toby is showing teeth in the middle shot. Funny how vicious dogs can appear when they're playing. Great shot Rick! Our dogs are spoiled too and definitely a huge part of our day to day lives. Thanks for the recent comment. To answer your question, yes we were allowed to hold the parrots. One of the birds, a white cockatiel gave each of the kids a kiss and made an amazing kissing sound. They obviously don't have lips, so the trainer said they produce the sound in their throats. They brought about 5 birds and each one did a few tricks. A lot of fun and they made it educational for the kids which was great. I found a link to them - http://www.happybirds.com/. Just including it for anyone in the SF Bay area that may be interested. Thanks Rick.
(Thanks, it does.)
