Waiting For Work by digitalrn

Waiting For Work

I saw this guy sitting along the edge of a field on my way to work the other morning. It was just sitting there, partly covered with weeds. You get the impression it has been sitting there for a little while, perhaps on "unemployment" and just waiting for harvest time. It was red and made for a nice theme photo.
nice capture for the theme :)

I like this a lot!! I'm a total country girl so those kind of places are what I call "home" :) definitely a good one for the theme, Rick.

love the red, and while it's good for the theme on 365, it's also good that you put it into context of what's going on around the country as well! great shot, rick.

Surely someone's missing an important piece of equipment! Makes me wonder how something like that could have been misplaced! Big whoops!

Another good theme-related pic.
I wonder if the owner remembers where he left this piece of equipment or if he is using the wide open outdoors as the "garage" for his equipment ....

A little hidden treasure waiting to be discovered by a vigilant 365 photographer. Good work!

Great photo for the theme. Like the contrasts.

Great looking shot. Love that big red machine. :)
Thanks for your comment on my "Exit" shot. It was edited only for light levels and noise clean-up. The effect was achieved by moving the camera. The iPhone 3G has a pretty slow shutter speed in low light, so I was taking advantage of that.

It looks so lonely out there in the field, like it's just waiting for someone to make it useful again. Nice theme shot.

great color on this shot and the vignetting works well ... "unemployment for machinery - it's an interesting thought, isn't it?

I think I love this for the red theme most... It's got that charm to it. Yes, it does have Bokeh... funny word too. Will you do me a favor? You are really great at the landscape shots, and to be quite frank, I'm not. I just posted one, and would love your input on how to take better landscapes. :D I value your opinion. Thank you.
