The Grandkids came over last evening, and today after doing some shopping, we came home and the girls were eager to begin decorating. I took them up into the attic where we went through the decorations, picked out what we wanted to use, and then proceed to put up the tree. My Wife and I bought a pre-lit tree several years ago, but for the past several years, we only put up a small table tree. I wasn't sure it would still work. After it was together, and we checked all connections, we were ready to plug it in. It worked! So they went at it. We chose blue Christmas balls this year along with a few extra ornaments. The girls were having fun. Grandma and Daddy had to come in and inspect, and make a few minor adjustments, but all in all, the girls did it all. Destiny wanted to fix the skirt and she found place for several other Christmas items around the tree. Kassidy found a place in the little rocking chair for a snowman. They had fun, and I think they did an awesome job. They were proud. Now it is officially Christmas in the Schies House.
Great collage. It has the look of a display case for a collection. Love the addition of the snowflakes. You are so lucky to have your grand daughters nearby.

a beautiful story to go with the montage. I can just imagine it - "make a few minor adjustments" but looking at it with a big smile to have the company of grandkids to help you. a memory to keep.
